I watched some presentations on Lightwave 10, and Autodesk MotionBuilder today, and I was totally inspired to learn what i can about them. MotionBuilder would be a little harder to learn anything about since I dont exactly have access to MoCap footage but it was very cool none the less. Lightwave also looked pretty interesting, and while i havnt really even heard much about it before I would like to learn, and see what i can do inside it.

I stood at nVidia’s booth for a long time because they were having a drawing contest where they would have like 7 drawing horses set up and give the people a theme (hungry, hairy, fabulous) and they would have 20 minutes to draw a picture incorporating the theme and the nVidia logo. Was pretty interesting and fun to watch.

My favorite booth of course was Pixar’s! I even took a picture. They were doing on the spot interview/talks but there was a bit of a line. I am hoping to get there pretty early tomorrow and have a chance to talk to them and a few other places doing on the spot interviews. Anyhow here is a picture of Pixar’s booth (aka. sunnyside)
